Fundraising for Home Start
On Saturday 30th September 2017 I took part in the Brockweir Soap Box Derby, “Brake for the Border” near my home in The Wye Valley. At the event locals and some national entrants race down the steep valley sides to the river that marks the border between England and Wales. I raised sponsorship for Home Start Monmouthshire, who offer support and friendship to families with young children. The go-cart was called “Don’t Wake the Baby” and as well as attracting lot’s of attention, it won the best “champagne moment.”
